As a firm believer in the power of genuine human connection, the dynamic between my clients and I is of my highest priority. A professor and mentor once said, “The question should not be, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ But rather, ‘What has happened to you?’” This quote shapes every conversation I hold with my clients. I am dedicated to breaking down the stigma of traditional talk therapy, particularly for young folks, by empowering my clients to rewrite their ownnarrative and understand their neurological roots, to become the best version of themself, for themself, their relationships, and their future.

I received my BSW (2018) and MSW (2019) from the University of South Carolina, where I specialized my studies in trauma-informed care for children, youth, and families, to further enable my ability to facilitate healing spaces through the holistic understanding of a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive lens. I have significant experience working with those navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidality, grief/loss, low self-esteem, and ADHD. I also work with individuals undergoing life changes, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and families, all striving for mental, emotional, and spiritual balance. I do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all,” approach—I am here to work with you to help you find what works best for you. I lead therapy through narrative and strengths-based approaches, paired with CBT (understanding the “why”) and DBT (implementing mindful change).

In my free-time, I can be found enjoying time with my people (and animals!), snuggled up in a good book, or advancing my own mindfulness and professional practice through my own, ever growing and shape-shifting, wellness journey.
